2nd Conference on
Recent computational and experimental advances
in molecular medicine

July 20th–22nd, 2022, in Ho Chi Minh City, VIETNAM

UPDATE: The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic this year has influenced many countries in the world. Although the vaccination has recently been rapidly developed, many challenges and unpredicted situations prevent the organizing progress and abroad travelling. After careful discussion and consideration, the BME8 organizing committee decided to only publish the IFMBE Proceeding in the Springer Publisher, and the BME8 conference will not be held on site this time. Therefore, the 2nd Conference on Recent computational and experimental advances in molecular medicine has been postponed to July 20-22, 2022 within the BME9 event. Further information about the program dates or details would be gradually updated to you later.

Welcome to the website of the 2nd Conference on "Recent computational and experimental advances in molecular medicine” at the International University - Vietnam National Universities in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from July 20 to 22, 2020. The purpose of this workshop is to facilitate the exchange of recent achievements in the field, to promote active collaborations and, most importantly, to expose young researchers in Vietnam to cutting-edge, molecular-level biomedical research.

The conference will be a parallel session of the 9th International Conference of the Development of Biomedical Engeneering (BME9), which has been held every two years (apart from in 2020) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Chair of the conference is Professor Vo Van Toi, Ph.D., Biomedical Engineering Department, International University, Vietnam National Universities of Ho Chi Minh City.
Theme: Healthcare Technology for Smart City in Low and Middle Income Countries (LMIC)

During this event, the Keylab prize for Seminal Achievements in Molecular Simulation will be awarded to Prof. Mike Klein (Temple University, Philadelphia).
