Materials for High-Temperature Technologies Department


At the department, new materials and layer systems are developed primarily for applications in advanced power plants. The focus is on thermal barrier coatings, protective coatings for composite fibre materials, and abradable coatings, as well as repair methods for high-temperature materials.

The department is organized into different specialist areas. The scientific work is structured into three teams.
