Short description

The development of PEFC and HT-PEFC is supported by transport simulations on multiple spatial scales. The accurate simulation of the transport processes requires a large amount of computational resources. High performance computing (HPC) is applied on the cell and stack scale of fuel cells in the JARA0070 HPC project granted by JARA-HPC. It is related to the OpenFuelCell activity and also to the MEMPHYS project. At the micrometer scale and below Lattice Boltzmann simulations are applied in the JIEK30 HPC project granted by the VSR.
