Language and the brain, linguistics and neuroscience - the McGill-Jülich dialogue

June 28th - 30th, 2012

Forschungszentrum Jülich, Conference room ICS-4, building 15.1 /room 2049 /entree E2

This workshop will get neuroscientists interested in language together with experimental and formal linguists interested in the brain, and try to enhance the dialogue between the linguistic and the neurophysiological cultures, in an attempt to close the gap between these 2 growing groups of researchers. It is hoped that this (rather unusual) encounter will strengthen the theoretical and experimental bases of the study of brain/language relations and beyond.

*The meeting will be mostly funded by Canada Research Chairs, through Yosef Grodzinsky’s Chair in Neurolinguistics at McGill University, Montreal, Canada
