About me

I am a Biomedical Engineer specialized in medical imaging and participant in the PhD program "Interdisciplinary Program Health Sciences" (IPHS) at the University of Cologne.

As a PhD student at the Research Center Jülich, my main research interest is the investigation of structural connectivity changes in glioma patients. This includes studying the impact of tumor- and treatment-related structural changes in brain tissue on neurocognitive function.

For my research, I use MRI and PET image data in combination with advanced software-based tractography and image registration tools, as well as cognitive performance tests. In the future, new findings could help better tailor therapies and treatments to preserve neurocognitive function.
