Biological and environmental phosphorus compounds

Phosphhorus compounds are essential for life and indispensable for all organisms. The threat of scarcity makes it all the more important to understand phophorus cycles in order to be able to manage existing resources more sparingly. We develop and apply new 31P-NMR methods to improve the identification, characterisation and quantification of phosphorus compounds in plants, soil and microorganisms.
