How to reach Forschungszentrum Jülich

Jülich is situated between the three major cities of Cologne, Dusseldorf and Aachen. Information for your journey by car or public transport as well as for orientation on campus can be found here.

How to reach the ER-C

Visitors' Reception and Registration

Please register at the Visitors' Reception at the main entrance before entering the campus. You will find it at the main entrance of the campus. Please allow 15 minutes for parking and registration.

You will need a valid ID card or passport for your registration

Please have the contact details of your host at hand (institute, name, phone number).

The general administration offices of ER-C-1/PGI-5 and ER-C-2 as well as most of our instruments are located in Building 05.2S (indicated by the red circle). The red line shows you the way through campus from the main entrance to Building 05.2S.
