Forschungszentrum Jülich Partners Vocational College

Jülich, 30 June 2016 – Jülich’s vocational college and Forschungszentrum Jülich have become official learning partners as part of KURS, a cooperation project between enterprises and schools in the region. The college’s head teacher Heike Schwarzbauer, Düren’s KURS coordinator Martina Jordan, and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors Karsten Beneke signed the relevant agreement today. The two institutions have been collaborating on dual vocational training for years. The learning partnership, which is now contractually regulated through the KURS initiative, supports students at vocational upper secondary schools (Berufliches Gymnasium) in choosing their future profession.
