Advanced Talents Day 2022
Scientific reputation is key when pursuing a career in academia. In this respect, it is becoming increasingly important to be visible as an expert in the scientific community and to communicate your research effectively.
Our Speakers will focus on developments in science communication, self-marketing and current research assessment reforms regarding the scientific career path to professorship. Aspects of equal opportunities in science and academia are also taken into account.
Furthermore, we will discuss individual career paths and responsibility in research.
During the event, participants will have the opportunity to obtain information about various career paths and strategies on the way to a professorship, participate in discussions or Q&A Sessions and network with other researchers of RWTH Aachen University, the University of Cologne and Forschungszentrum Jülich.
