We are looking to recruit a
Master thesis – Hardware implementation of State Space Models
Your Job:
- Optimize existing machine learning models for hardware implementation
- Investigate fundamental hardware concepts for deployment of SSMs regarding model performance and energy consumption
- Device a system model for hardware implementation of SSM and evaluate its performance in circuit and system simulation
Your Profile:
Minimum requirements:
- Current master studies in electrical or computer engineering, physics or related field
- Interest in working at the boundaries of technologies and in a highly interdisciplinary field
- Ability to think outside of the box
- Experience in circuit design
- Good communication skills in English and / or German
Preferred requirements:
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (PyTorch / Tensorflow)
- Experience with IC design and related IDEs (Cadence / Synopsis /Mentor)
