Research Coordinator in part-time - Earth System Data Exploration
Your Job:
In this role, you will work alongside passionate scientists, project leaders and project managers to coordinate and manage funded research projects and share the success of ESDE`s research through social media, web pages, and other platforms. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and managing funded research projects with project leaders
- Communicating research results and achievements to a wider audience
- Tracking project timelines, coordinating upcoming milestones, and deliverables
- Organizing workshops, meetings, and conferences
- Assisting in preparing project reports and proposals
Your Profile:
To be part of our dynamic team, you should have:
- A Master`s degree in Physics, Computer Science, Environmental Science, or Engineering, preferred with a subsequent PhD
- A curious and enthusiastic mindset, with excellent interpersonal and networking skills
- Strong management and coordinating abilities
- Pronounced editorial skills with a sense for aesthetics and design
- Exceptional communication skills in English (and preferably German)

You will be employed for a fixed term of 3 years. Salary and social security benefits will conform to the provisions of the Collective Agreement for the Public Service (TVöD-Bund), pay group 13, depending on your current qualifications and the precise nature of the tasks assigned to you.
