About

The aim of our team is to conncect hydrogen and energy supply on the basis of methanol (MEOH), dimethyl ether (DME) and synthetic natural gas (SNG) with industrial processes. These processes include heat supply, power generation and direct utilization of the carrier with integrated carbon capture. This integration requires familiarity with the respective industrial processes and knowledge of potential synergies. Overall, we seek to support technology development together with industrial partners up to demonstration scale.

At a more fundamental research level, we aim to efficiently model thermophysical and kinetic data and develop methods to bridge the gap between detailed unit operation simulation and process level simulations.
