Episode 15: Kouroumlakiwé Yoma about Research, Patience and Ice Cream

For many researchers, leaving their home country and arriving in a completely new environment is part of their career and, at the same time, each story is individual. In this episode, Kouroumlakiwé Yoma shares his personal story with Alissa and Hazel. He talks about growing up in Togo, his motivation for conducting research in renewable energies and how he came to Germany to study and pursue his doctorate. He describes the doubts he had during the first year of his doctorate and how he overcame them with patience, exchange, and ice cream. And, we also find out what he thinks of the African peanut soup at the Seecasino.
