Abstract:

The WOUDC data centre is operated by the Meteorological Service of Canada, a branch of Environment Canada. The Centre has been archiving ozone data since 1960 and solar ultraviolet (UV) radiation data since 1992.

WOUDC recently underwent a system renewal with an emphasis on standards, interoperability, and high performance distributed web services. This presentation will provide an overview of the principles, requirements, design, implementation and operations of the new WOUDC.
