Prizes for the best posters at the JSMD 2018

The Jülich Soft Matter Days 2018 hosted 175 participants at the campus of Forschungszentrum Jülich from 20 to 23 November. Thirty-five invited and contributed oral contributions were grouped into seven sessions covering the topics:

• Cell Mechanics and Migration
• Active Systems
• DNA-based Macromolecules
• Colloids and Proteins
• Biopolymers
• Flow and Microfluidics
• Interfaces

The scientific programme was completed by two poster sessions, during which more than 100 posters were presented. A jury of internationally renowned participants selected the best three posters out of the many excellent contributions.

The winners were awarded a free one year subscription to Soft Matter and membership in the Royal Chemical Society, in adittion to prize money.
