Malta Conference Foundation
The Malta Conferences Foundation organizes annual meetings of international scientists, mainly from the Middle East, to exchange ideas on common topics of interest and to facilitate encounters between young scientists and Nobel Laureates.
The Malta Conferences reflect a common desire to improve the quality of life and political stability in the Middle East. They serve to identify unique opportunities for collaboration to address the scientific and technological challenges of the region. The conferences last five days and address issues such as science education, air and water quality, alternative energy sources and other topics of common interest.
With the eyes of the world on the Middle East, world leaders have recognized that science diplomacy is an extremely important mechanism to work towards stability in the Middle East. This is what the Malta Conferences has done in recent years.
