Research Interests:
- Analysis of trajectories and body movement when walking through a bottleneck based on inertial 3D motion capturing and camera data,
- Difference of movement patterns and trajectories when passing a bottleneck individually or in a crowd,
- Influence of measurement methods, spatial structures and flow characteristics on the general shape of the fundamental diagram,
- Comparison of movement patterns and trajectories for differnet cutural backgrounds.
Project related work:
- Coordinating and technical realisation of field studies and large-scale pedestrian laboratory experiments in the project CroMa (“Crowd Management in Verkehrsinfrastrukturen”).
- Adaption and developtment of tracking methods in the software PeTrack to incorporate project specific requirements.
