I received my B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cagliari, Cagliari, Italy, in 2013 and 2016, respectively. I received the Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering from the same university, in 2020, with the thesis "Compressive Sensing-based Methodologies for Smart Grid Monitoring".
During my post-doc at the University of Cagliari, I worked on the implementation and characterization of real-time non-intrusive load monitoring (NILM) techniques on an FPGA-based measurement infrastructure for home appliance monitoring.
Since 2016 I have been a reviewer for various scientific conferences and journals (e.g., IEEE Transaction on Instrumentation and Measurements, IEEE Transaction on Smart Grid, and more).
Currently, I am the group leader of the Control Solutions group at ICE-1, and responsible for the hardware in the loop laboratory of the institute.
