About me

I am heading the Nuclear Safeguards and Security Division at Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany. There, my responsibilities include the scientific coordination and implementation of national and international research projects and programs as well as providing advice and training related to international safeguards, nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament verification. I received my PhD from the University of Bonn in 2000 for my thesis on satellite imagery analysis in support of safeguards verification.
