Soil systems modeling
Soil systems modeling contributes to a better understanding of the response of agroecosystems to climate changeand other environmental threats.
We develop and use mathematical models to understand and predict biogeochemical and -physical processes in soils. Our research contributes to a better understanding of the response of agroecosystems to climate change and other environmental threats such as pesticides, microplastics, and emerging pathogens. We combine mathematical modeling with experimental approaches and effective data analysis.
