Postdoc – Systems-based approaches in nuclear verification – Concepts, models and simulation

titel

Non-proliferation and disarmament of nuclear weapons requires verification of whether states are complying with corresponding agreements. At the Institute of Energy and Climate Research - Nuclear Waste Management (IEK-6), we develop approaches and procedures for international nuclear material safeguards and nuclear disarmament verification. Become part of our interdisciplinary team and contribute to solving current and future challenges of nuclear verification. Join the BMBF-funded joint project VeSPoTec, in which an interdisciplinary team of natural scientists, sociologists and political scientists is investigating the complex interactions of technology, politics and cooperative behavior in nuclear verification and is establishing a regional center for integrated interdisciplinary verification research: https://vespotec.rwth-aachen.de
