PhD Position - Development of Methods and Workflows for Robust and Reproducible Mass Spectrometry Analysis and Multi-Omics Integration

titel

The Data Science and Bioinformatics for Mass Spectrometry (DSBMS) working group at the Institute for Bio- and Geosciences – Computer-Assisted Metagenomics (IBG-5) is dedicated to bio- and chemoinformatics research activities, focusing on the interdisciplinary decoding and analysis of mass spectrometry data in lipidomics and metabolomics. The focus is particularly on the use of cloud technologies, algorithms, and AI for analyzing large amounts of data and supporting various applications in the life sciences and biomedicine. IBG-5 integrates service and infrastructure networks at both the national (de.NBI) and international (ELIXIR) levels to make such data analyses more efficient and automated for both the scientific community and end users.
