Our administrative staff and service teams are ready to advise and support you in all matters related to: human resources, purchasing and materials management, finance and controlling, third-party funding, time and attendance, design and construction, health and safety at work.
They act as competent partners for questions relating to administrative and organizational issues to ensure the smooth progression of research and technical operations.
Electronics and Equipment Testing
We develop electronic devices, instruments, and mechatronic systems including firmware for experiments and for the needs of our clients in research and technical administration.
In addition, we provide technical support for our clients’ daily operations in the areas of: electrical safety, troubleshooting experiments, the repair of electrical systems and equipment.
This includes work on both portable and stationary devices to ensure that experimental setups and infrastructure are both functional and safe.
IT and Software Development
Our IT department equips our clients with devices such as PCs, printers, and conference systems and provides the appropriate support.
It also operates server clusters, including backup services for: data storage, hosting services (e.g., license servers, web services, and databases), outsourcing computationally intensive processes (for example, simulations in quantum computing).
Our software development services complete our portfolio by: integrating scientific devices into local IT infrastructure, implementing complex signal and data‑processing algorithms, programming advanced experiment control systems, developing visualization tools in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.
Design and Workshop Teams
The design and workshop teams collaborate closely with the research institutes to realize innovative devices using modern CAD systems and workshop technology (e.g. CNC milling machines).
Specialized expertise is available in areas such as: ultra‑high vacuum (UHV) technology, low‑temperature technology, processing of special materials.
This enables the customized construction of experimental apparatus and mechanical solutions that meet the specific technical requirements of research projects.
