The German ACTRIS partners (ACTRIS-D) had their annual meeting from 13 to 15 June in Aachen, organized by the project partner from Forschungszentrum Jülich, FZJ. Nearly 60 participants presented and discussed the actual status of setting-up the German Central and National Facilities. In addition, research already carried out at ACTRIS facilities in Germany was presented. Highlights were the demonstration of the service provided by the Topical Centres for in-situ measurements of trace gases and aerosol properties (CiGas and CAIS/ECAC) to support the National Facilities and scientific activities at the simulation chambers, providing access to users. ACTRIS Interim Director General Eija Juurola explained to the audience the change in the organizational structure of ACTRIS with the recent establishment of ACTRIS-ERIC. As the labelling of National Facilities is already ongoing, the labelling process was presented by the ACTRIS-D implementation project leader Ulla Wandinger, TROPOS, and the German Topical Centre leaders to answer open questions of the audience.
