About

Our team of control and chemical engineers develops process control solutions for plants of chemical hydrogen storage systems. Unlike traditional plants which are operated in steady state at a few operating points, these plants are subjected to large load fluctuations and thus need more elaborate, multivariable controllers.

Research Topics

  • Development of dynamic, control-oriented models for such plants
  • Development of single-loop and model-based, multivariable control solutions for the plants
  • Demonstration of the feasibility of the control approach on industrial controllers and pilot-scale plants
