Imaging Core Facility (ICF)

ICF
Forschungszentrum Jülich

A wide range of imaging techniques at the Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine (INM) are brought together in the Imaging Core Facility (ICF). These include various top-class instruments that provide insights into the brain.

The ICF features magnetic resonance tomography (MRT) with different magnetic field strengths, positron emission tomographs (PET) and two hybrid MR-PET devices, including one with a power of 9.4 T. Imaging techniques at the PET Centre on the Jülich Campus also fall under the remit of the ICF. The Imaging Core Facility is currently being established as a user facility.
