Join us in shaping change in the Rhineland mining region

We look forward to receiving your application.

The Helmholtz Cluster for Sustainable and Infrastructure-Compatible Hydrogen Economy (HC-H2) is set to grow significantly in the coming years. That is why we are constantly on the lookout for new colleagues. In addition to academics, we also need skilled workers who can help us turn our ideas for the hydrogen economy of the future into reality. That's why it can make sense to send us a speculative application-even if there are no suitable vacancies advertised at the moment. If you have any questions, please use our contact form.

Impressions from the INW and the Helmholtz Cluster

The INW is the newest institute at Forschungszentrum Jülich. The institute is being built in the freely accessible Brainergy Park Jülich. The symbolic starting signal for the new institute was given in fall 2022. The new technical hall, which houses a metalworking shop, an electrical workshop, and laboratory workstations, has been in operation since 2024.

Since our founding, our institute has grown larger and more diverse every year. Even beyond our research activities, there is never a dull moment at INW. From networking events at Brainergy Park to our barbecues, carnival celebrations, town hall meetings, and traditional Christmas cookie baking, we experience a varied daily routine at the institute with many shared activities.
