If you fulfil the following requirements:

  • very good university degree (MSc or PhD) in physics, chemistry, geosciences, materials science or a related field
  • experience in neutron scattering (or X-ray scattering), experiment and data analysis
  • preferably experience with the characterisation or synthesis of energy materials i.e. batteries, fuel cells, heterogeneous catalysts, etc.
  • have a very good command of English
  • are able to work independently

Internships and theses

Prof. Dr. Zobel teaches in the degree programmes of Chemistry, Physics, Applied Geosciences, Materials Science and Materials Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, and is Head of the Department of Crystallography.
