Virtual tour of the JUNIQ building
A quantum annealer with more than 5000 qubits is working at Forschungszentrum Jülich. The quantum annealer is part of the Jülich User Infrastructure for Quantum Computing (JUNIQ), which gives researchers in Germany and Europe access to various quantum systems. A new building was constructed for the operation of the quantum annealer. Quantum computing systems require a special, vibration-free location. The building's two machine halls therefore have special vibration foundations to dampen vibrations.
