Germany-Japan workshop on nano- and quantum devices

The workshop at the RIKEN Wako Campus in Tokyo brought together scientists from Germany and Japan. About 40 participants exchanged views on current developments in nano and quantum devices in several sessions and presentations. A highlight of the workshop was the laboratory tour at RIKEN, especially for the German participants who visited the RIKEN Wako Campus in Japan for the first time. During the dinner, an intensive exchange about scientific results and possible future cooperation took place.

The DWIH actively supported the workshop with Mr. Axel Karpenstein and Ms. Laura Blecken, who discussed networking opportunities between Japanese and German scientists. The ML4Q cluster also supported the event.
