Workshop on the Development of an E-Learning Platform

In December, the research group of Peter Schüffelgen (PGI-9) had a workshop dedicated to the development of an e-learning platform for machine usage instructions in the Nanocluster and Cryolab. The workshop was kindly supported by Alina Koelman and Dorthe Urlaub from E-Learning FZJ, who introduced the group to the e-learning tools available at Forschungszentrum Jülich. Participants received guidance on how to structure digital manuals and create user-friendly learning content. Prior to the workshop, photos and videos were recorded directly in the laboratories to provide visual support for the online manuals.

To enable focused collaboration and intensive knowledge exchange toward fast and effective e-learning tool creation, the group spent three days together in Winterberg from December 17 to 19, combining productive working sessions with informal evening activities.

The workshop represents an important step toward establishing a comprehensive and accessible e-learning platform for laboratory users at FZJ.
