Cooperations
attyloid GmbH
attyloid is a biotech spin-off built on strong scientific expertise in the field of protein misfolding and aggregation. attyloid have developed an ultra-sensitive quantitative technology platform with value-adding potential as biomarker of CNS diseases and drug effect assaying, development and QC of biologicals, and counting of viral particles.
attyloid GmbH was founded in March 2018 as a spin-off from the Forschungszentrum Jülich and the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. attyloid has set itself the goal of revolutionizing aggregate analysis for the quality control of biopharmaceutical products using the sFIDA technology developed at FZJ. attyloid now has a lot of experience in assay development and surface chemistry, which it contributes to the Innovation Lab.
Charitè Berlin, DZNE
Together with DZNE-Berlin, the Innovation Lab will develop the SuFIDA Assay for the quantification of autoantibodies in patients with neurological diseases. Starting with antibodies against the NMDA receptor, further autoantibodies will be identified, characterized and quantified in the blood for diagnostics. Due to their limited sensitivity, the cell-based assays used so far are not able to do this or their application is far too time and resource intensive.
Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf
Students and doctoral candidates of the institute get the opportunity to do research and internships in the Innovation Lab. After successful graduation, students have the opportunity to be employed as scientists in the Innovation Lab.
Partnerships are continuously being expanded in the Innovation Lab.
Therefore, we are open for new partners and cooperation projects!
