Fokus
Research group
Part of the Research Group Environmental Monitoring, in particular contributing to the measurement of greenhouse gas and energy fluxes between land surface and atmosphere with eddy-covariance and chamber systems and associated meteorological, soil and biomass measurements. Frequent collaborations with the Research Groups “Plant-Soil-Atmosphere Exchange Processes” and “Terrestrial Observation Platforms”.
Research focus
Greenhouse gas and energy flux measurements and their partitioning with eddy-covariance, chamber and profile measurements, including the development and improvement of new and existing measurement and analysis methods. Regional to global scale synthesis studies on the role of the land surface in modulating climate change.
Research Interests
- Micrometeorology
- Carbon and Water Cycle
- Climate Change mitigation and adaptation
