About me
Dr. Vlassis Karydis is leading the Atmospheric Aerosol Modeling activities at IEK-8. His research areas include the
development of advanced atmospheric aerosol modules incorporated in chemistry climate models for the study of
the tropospheric aerosol effects on air quality as well as topics related to aerosol-cloud interactions and their
impacts on Earth’s energy balance and climate.
