About Andreas
Andreas works in the department Mathematics and Education within the Jülich Supercomputing Centre of the Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH and leads the Algorithm, Tools and Methods Lab: Numerical and Statistical Methods.
His research interests are boundary integral equations, non-linear eigenvalue problems, acoustic and electromagnetic scattering problems, and inverse problems.
Since January 2022 he is professor at the University of Applied Sciences Aachen (Fachhochschule Aachen Campus Jülich) in the faculty Medical Engineering and Technomathematics. He regularly teaches the bachelor courses Analyis 1, Analysis 2, and Stochastics for the dual study program (MaTSE & AMI) as well as the master course Special Numerical and Statistical Methods.
