Warum und woran ich forsche

The main goal of my research is to achieve a better understanding of the neural mechanisms and interactions associated with socio-affective and cognitive processes as well as how interindividual differences in behaviour and personality characteristics relate to brain structure and function. This is done by on the one hand using meta-analyses in order to delineate brain regions consistently found across studies that investigated these processes, but additionally relating functional connectivity within (meta-analytically derived) networks to individual behaviour by using machine learning.
