You will be accommodated in the historical city of Aachen. The place of coronation of German kings, Aachen in its more than a thousand years witnessed the most inspiring and dramatic moments of the European history. Located direct at the boundary of Germany with the Netherlands and Belgium, the city flourishes the unique mixture of various cultures in the heart of Europe. At the heart of the City lies the Aachen Dom (Cathedral). In 1978 this was the first German building to be included in the Unesco list of World Heritage Sites. The Dom is proud to house the most precious treasures north of the Alps. These can be seen in the Cathedral Treasury. Not far from the Cathedral is the Gothic Town Hall. Its facade is richly decorated with countless figures that remind people of the German coronations that took place in Aachen.
