EXPAND

The Expert Panel on Nuclear Disarmament Verification (EXPAND) is a non-governmental expert body that addresses the technological foundations and relevant mechanisms of nuclear disarmament verification (NDV). Its goal is to complement ongoing and future processes within the United Nations, including the Group of Scientific and Technological Experts (GSTE), whose mandate is expected to begin in 2027. EXPAND is funded by the Federal Foreign Office and supported by Forschungszentrum Jülich.
