Live Demonstration: 4 × 4 Memristive Cellular Nonlinear Network in EDGE Detection Operation

Published 25 June 2025

We have fabricated one of the first array-scale prototypes of a Memristive Cellular Nonlinear Network (M-CNN) featuring interconnected cells. In this live demonstration, we presented the operation of our 4×4 M-CNN array performing an edge detection task, building on state-of-the-art work. A user-defined input has applied to the network, and the computed results visualized in real-time, alongside a simulated standard CNN operation for direct comparison.
