About me
I studied Chemical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, specializing in polymer membrane manufacturing and characterization at the AVT.CVT (Department of Chemical Process Engineering) and the DWI – Leibniz Institute for Interactive Materials. Currently, at IET-1, I research the degradation of water electrolyzer components such as membrane electrode assemblies and porous transport layers, with a focus on their mechanical and electrical properties. To investigate local degradation mechanisms at high resolution, I employ techniques including nanoindentation, micro- and macroscopic four-point probing, and atomic force microscopy. In addition, I have experience in automated data analysis, design of electrochemical in-situ cells, and sensor applications.
