Control Solutions at ICE-1

In our group, we develop control solutions for multi-modal energy systems that can be operated in real-time. Thus, we develop methods and algorithms that take into account the challenges of on-field implementations. Our solutions are then validated in hardware in the loop, under realistic conditions.

Vita

I received my B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Energy and Systems Engineering from the University of Trieste, Trieste, Italy, in 2013 and 2015, respectively. I received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from RWTH-Aachen University, in 2023, with the thesis "Multi-Timescale Framework for the Voltage Control of Active Distribution Grids".

Currently, I am with the Control Solutions group at ICE-1, focusing on control algorithms and hardware in the loop solutions for multi-energy systems.
