Dominik Drabik, Bachelor's Student
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at RWTH Aachen University, with a recent exchange semester at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.
As a student research assistant at PGI-14, I’m diving into the world of Kolmogorov–Arnold Networks (KANs). My research is focused on finding hardware-friendly training strategies for these networks. Specifically, I’m exploring alternative basis functions (beyond B-splines), evaluating their hardware efficiency, and benchmarking their performance to ensure better energy efficiency while maintaining accuracy.
