Warum und woran ich forsche

I studied Biology at RWTH Aachen and University of Cologne, Germany and hold a PhD in Molecular Plant Science. After graduation, I gathered several years of experience as an educational consultant. In 2021, I joined the IAS-9 and the Helmholtz Metadata Collaboration, acting as a Data Steward and Trainer and I am specifically interested in making research (meta)data handling more approachable for the scientific community.

In my free time, you can find me in the bouldering gym, giving yoga classes or hiking in the mountains. I understand myself as a life-long learner and volunteer as a mentor for Arbeiterkind, a NGO supporting students from educationally disadvantaged families.
