Chris Hall began his career working in the United Kingdom, designing machinery for the inspection and decomissioning of commercial nuclear power and nuclear waste storage facilities. He started working at FZJ in 2019 and spent 4 years working on various projects for the Europeaon Spallation Source in Sweden, primarily the Neutron Beam Port Inserts (NBPIs). After the successfull delivery of the NBPIs he pivoted to a new topic area - Membrane Reactors. Here he uses his skills to help develop the exciting Membrane Reactor technology and help FZJ become an international leader.
