Warum und woran ich forsche

I am a doctoral researcher at the ICE-2 Institute at Jülich Research Center, where my research focuses on artificial intelligence, metadata, and knowledge graphs within the domain of energy systems modeling. My goal is to facilitate the application of FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) principles to research outputs, making them more accessible and usable for the broader scientific community.

My academic and professional journey has been quite interdisciplinary. I studied Psychology and Artificial Intelligence in the Netherlands, where I built a solid foundation in human cognition, statistics and advanced computational technologies. Later, I pursued a Master's studies in Technology Innovation for Businesses and Society in Hamburg, which allowed me to deepen my understanding of how technology can drive innovation and create value in both business and societal contexts.

Over the years, I’ve worked in the energy industry, gaining hands-on experience in AI and data analytics applied to energy systems. I also spent three years as Chief Technology Officer at a company focused on processing qualitative and heterogeneous data using Artificial Intelligence and Agentic Technologies.

These roles allowed me to explore how advanced AI techniques can be applied to solve complex data challenges in various industries, helping organizations unlock new insights and improve decision-making processes.

Today, I combine my background in AI, social, innovation, and data science to develop solutions that contribute to more efficient, sustainable, and intelligent energy systems.

I see myself as a facilitator of AI and automation, striving to use these technologies to advance meaningful causes in society. My goal is to help create a world that is more authentic, interdisciplinary, connected, and sustainable.

If anything from this resonates with you or sparks your interest, I’d be happy to connect and explore how we can collaborate or share ideas.
