About me

Eva Jodat studied chemistry at the Technical University of Clausthal. During her PhD, she focused on the synthesis of thiophene-based materials as precursors for photoelectric materials and carried out a post-doc on polymeric semiconductors at HC Starck Clevious GmbH, which led to a patent application. During her time at Projektträger Jülich, she gained valuable insights into strategy-oriented, bottom-up and technology-open funding competitions. In 2022 she joined IEK-9, now IET-1. As Acting Head of Department she is responsible for the H2-Giga projects Deriel, Segiwa & AEM-direkt and for the Kopernikus related project Power-2-Value-Chemicals.
