Deniz Kilic

I am a doctoral student in the project DenseDynamics. Before starting my PhD, I studied Computer Science and concurrently worked at the IAS-7 as a software developer; mainly working on PeTrack, a software to extract pedestrian trajectories from videos. Continuing with laboratory experiments in pedestrian dynamics, I now look primarily at impulse propagation and balance recovery in dense crowds. Besides camera data, processed with PeTrack, full-body motion capture data plays an important role in my analyses.
