Miro Miranda Lorenz received a bachelor’s degree in agricultural sciences from the University of Giessen, Giessen, Germany, in 2019, and a master’s degree in life science informatics from the University of Bonn, Bonn, Germany, in 2021. In 2026, he received a Ph.D. (Dr.-Ing.) in computer science from RPTU University of Kaiserslautern-Landau, Germany, in collaboration with the University of Groningen, Groningen, The Netherlands, specializing in earth observation and multimodal learning.
In 2022, following a research stay at the University of Bonn, he joined the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), Kaiserslautern, Germany as a researcher. After completing his Ph.D., he served as a senior researcher and project leader at DFKI. Since 2026, he has been a postdoctoral researcher at the Jülich Supercomputing Centre, Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany.
