About me
Maximilian Schalenbach studied physics at the University of Cologne. He received his PhD at the IEK-3 of Forschungszentrum Jülich under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Detlef Stolten on the topic of transport processes during water electrolysis. Afterwards, he became PostDoc at the MPIE in Düsseldorf, studying corrosion and electrolysis with Prof. Dr. Karl Mayrhofer. After industry experience in computer science he returned to the Forschungszentrum Jülich, studying electrochemical fundamentals at IET-1.
