About
I received my Ph.D. in physics from RWTH Aachen (Germany) in 2001 and joined JSC in 2002. I head the ATML Federation Technologies and Services. My main expertise is in distributed systems and federated computing, designing and developing solutions, tools and services in the Java and Python programming languages.
Research interests include: distributed and federated systems, RESTful APIs to high-performance computing systems and services, data management and data transfer, scientific workflow systems, security concerns in federated environments, and more. I am the lead developer of the UNICORE middleware.
